Just breathe

Certain feelings and what they mean to you.
We all have moments that we want to hang on to.
Breathing being the root that gives us life.
So we meditate on our breathing.
Not to remember the knowledge of breathing being the root that gives us life.
But to feel the breath.
That gives life.
That gives you your senses.
That give you your experience.
That fuels your brain.
To think.
To believe.
To remember.
There is no greater feeling than breathing.
This is much different than being aware that you are breathing.
It is the feeling that comes from understanding you are breathing.
From feeling your breathing.
"I" am this breath, and this "breath" is "me"

Whatever the day brings.
I am breathing.
What will come from another day breathing brings me.
Moment by moment I find out.
Faithfully I go along.
I am given these breaths.
Along I go.

Sometimes the breaths bring me dreams.
Breathing and thinking.
Thinking and breathing.
The thinking is mine.
Fear is not.
The thinking that comes from fear is mine.
"I am experiencing fear"
or
"I am out of control"
or
"I am feeling uncomfortable"
or
"I am helpless"

Thinking fuels our fires
Waters our plants
We have control over our thoughts
Can slow their speed
Can shower them with color
Can dress them in costume
Can make them invisible
Can make them powerful
Can make them powerless
Through our breathing.
Extinguish them
Through our breathing
Fuel them
Through our breathing

Remember your breath
Lasso your thoughts
Pull them in
Work with them
Not against
Tenderly
Patiently
Like a clay vase
Smooth the edges
Sweeping motions
Rhythm

Your breath
Your thoughts

Your breath
Your thoughts
I am I have
dot dot dot
Thoughts will come
Thoughts will go
Sometimes you must show people the door
Sometimes you must show thoughts the door
Gracefully, lovingly, with poise.
"Ta ta!"
"I'm grateful for the time we had, but it is time for you to go"
"Don't slam the door on the way....." (DOOR SLAMS)

I giggle.
Do a dance.
Watch my tummy as it goes up and down while I breath.
Phew.
What a day.
And I mean day figuratively.

A day of thoughts.
An aggregation of detrimental thoughts from my lifetime up to date.
I wonder if these detrimental thoughts could fill a days time.
Ok, I don't doubt that.
A year?
Two years?
What a waste!

No more.
